There is also a possibility to boost this trophy, yet it is not 100% reliable:

1. Get a group of at least two people (including you).

2. Try to find an empty session.

3. If the wheel stops at the gold trophy reward, let the one going for the trophy win all races. If the wheel stops somewhere else, exit the session and start with again with step 2.
